Tutorial Root Samsung Galaxy S3 Use CF-Root

In this guide we'll show you the simplest and fast procedure to root the Galaxy S3. To achieve the purpose we will use the CF-Root Chainfire developer. Unlike previous Samsung models (Galaxy S2 and Galaxy S), CF-Root for the Galaxy S3 does not change in any way the original kernel Samsungbut merely only to enable root access on your phone.
This procedure is universal and is compatible with all firmware.
Although there are many guides on the web, many are inaccurate, out-of-date or written by people who have no knowledge of the topics covered (some don't even have a Galaxy S3).

Warning
Do not make the root unless you know what is
  • The root procedure invalidates the warranty.
  • Running this kind of procedure, the State of the device (in settings > device info > State and the counter in download mode) will be changed.
  • You can no longer perform updates with Kies or via OTA.
  • Difficulty level and low hazard.
  • Read the entire guide before and then follow it point by point as it is and without doing anything .
  • The CF-Root restores the original Samsung recovery, so If you have installed a recovery changed the Miss and you'll have to reinstall it.

Prerequisites
  • Phone Drivers installed (just the presence on the PC of the Kies suite )
  • Odin Tool: download odin v3.04
    Extract the downloaded archive to a folder in C:\ (recommended) or any location of your choice.
    Es: C:\Odin\archive file.
  • Latest version CF-Root: download link for Galaxy S3 I9300.
    Extract the downloaded archive into the same folder where the executable Odin
    Ex: C:\Odin\.

Proceedings
  1. Start Odin (V1.83.exe Odin3 or Odin3 v3.04.exe).
  2. Click on the button in YOUR PDA and select the package CF-Rootdownloaded (eg. CF-Auto-Root-m0-gti9300.tar.md5, the extension in your pc may be hidden).

  3. Put Download Mode the Galaxy S3.
    By phone off, simultaneously press the buttons VOLUME down + HOME +POWER until the device will not turn on.
  4. Press the VOLUME UP button to continue.
  5. Connect the Galaxy S3 to the PC via usb cable and wait that Odin recognize the phone.

  6. Start the Installer by clicking the START button of odin.

  7. Wait a few minutes, your phone will restart and will automatically some operations prior tostarting final.
  8. Now in the app drawer you'll end up with a new application: SuperSu.
    We suggest that you use only for experienced users.
  9. The first time that a program will require root permissions, you receive the following confirmation-request message.
  10. Download now from Google Play the free app Busybox DOWNLOAD.
    It is an indispensable tool to run some apps that require root permissions, but that is not yet included in current versions of CF-Root.
  11. Start the Busybox installer and click the Install button.
The procedure is finished. In order todelete the root, the quickest and safest way is to reinstall over the current firmware using odin.
